Black skirts are your friend and wearing a nice black sweater with it will look awesome! Make sure that it's an A-line and it'll be flattering. Skirt length is another issue. If you're short, go shorter and toss some tights underneath. Having a mid-length skirt while you're short will make you look even shorter and chunkier.

Try an A-line without any pockets or detailing around the waist area. Pick one in a single color such as wine, black or a chocolate, it will give you a longer, leaner silhouette.

it depends on how tall you are. If you are short get a skirt that is longer and get a shirt that is dark that will cover your stomach area. If you are tall get a shorter skirt and get the same type of shirt. Don't get a skirt that is too tight around your stomach it will just make it bulge more. Stick with cottons don't get any stretchy material for your shirt b/c it hugs to all your fat. (No offense)! Good luck!!!

Go for an A-line skirt to take the visual off the area. Matching the colour of the skirt to the top will also give you 1 line so you are not split at the waist which will attract the eye right to that area.
