I would like to sew ladies clothing of the 1930s, skirts, blouses. Any ideas on patterns or other hints?

Got something to say?
I’m sure there are plenty of vintage stores around NY…

The Vogue pattern company has reissued some of their patterns from the 30’s. They are re-sized to be consistent with today’s clothing sizes. I would use them. Good luck and let any bias cut item like a skirt hang before hemming for a couple of days so when you hem it, the hem stays even.

Google Vintage patterns. i was amazed at how many sites there are that have patterns from the thirties, forties etc.
