    It’s stiff because it dried without dryer sheets in a dryer, and its crinkly because it dried that way (this will happen to any fabric thats washed, and air dryed). If its not fraying and falling apart, I doubt that it’s ruined or anything, but re-wash it (or have it dry-cleaned) according to it’s cleaning instructions. It should be fine. If it was really expensive, or a favorite article of clothing, I’d call a professional cleaners and ask them what to do with it.

    If this skirt is a "true" silk, the only you thing can do, is take it to a professional cleaners. Rewashing will NOT make a difference! (been there, done that!) Good luck!

    This MAY work. Fill a basin of cool water which has fabric softener in it and wet it down well in that water. Then while soaking wet, work with it by hand to reshape and dry hanging on skirt hanger.
