   Hi hon, do the shops that sell the fabric also sell patterns – if you go to a dressmakers they normally also sell patterns for all kinds of items. All the best

   If that is too young, I recommend learning how to make patterns – there are books you can buy… you need to find a simple one that starts right at the beginning… basically, take measurements… add for comfort & seam allowance… manipulate the paper to make the shapes…

   Designers work from cardboard templates for the basic body shape i.e. a skirt block, or jacket block… An evening class in dress-making might teach you how to make those…
