At hollister just get a plain shirt. No print, no design, just a plain shirt. They come in lots of different colors so you can choose one to match and you can also look at abercrombie and their plain button down shirts. References :

Hmm, maybe some sort of V-neck long-sleeved sweater? An ordinary white one would look nice.
Try wearing wedges and maybe a tank, too. References :

my top 2 choices are as follows: 1. A halter top. It will take the slender form you create with the skirt and continue it on the top. pair it with a large bracelet or dramatic necklace. 2. A flowy top. This is the opposite of the halter because it will balance the bottom. Either one will work quite well.
Any color too! Denim is a neutral. =] References :

I think you might try a tight long sleeved shirt, that perhaps
has a ruffle around the low neck line and the long sleeves.
